For more than twenty years, he has remained steadfast, day and night without ceasing, in his devoted recitation of the six-character great name “Namu Amida Butsu.” Through this practice, he has attained self-realization, transcended the bounds of time and space, and allowed his consciousness to surpass the light of the sun and moon. He has come to know the true nature of the universe, all things, and the earth; discovered his true self; returned to his original nature; awakened to wisdom; opened the gates to the Western Pure Land and other dimensional realms; realized countless Dharmas; and experienced the state of the Great Treasury of Light manifesting before him. and realized, in an instant, the oneness of all forms—becoming one with the universe, all phenomena, the earth, the void, the Dharma Realm, and all flowers, grasses, and trees—through the interplay of various energies.
